Western Isles / Outer Hebrides bird sightings for today, 4th March 2023. Updated throughout the day

Loch Stiapabhat, Isle of Lewis
The drake *Green-winged Teal* and *Ring-necked Duck* were seen there again late morning. 3 Snow Buntings were nearby at the Butt plus 15 *European White-fronted Geese* were also in the area

Stornoway, Isle of Lewis
An Iceland Gull was seen from the Stornoway - Ullapool ferry

Berneray
7 *European White-fronted Geese* were seen on the island today. A Common Scoter was also offshore

Balranald, North Uist
The ***Cackling Goose*** was with Barnacles again today

Loch Bee, South Uist
The female ***Lesser Scaup*** was seen on east Loch Bee late morning. The drake Pochard was also present as was a pair of Greater Scaup. 6 Black-tailed Godwits were nearby on west Loch Bee and another 2 were at Loch an't-Saile

Traigh Mhor, Barra
Two Little Gulls were there again today
