Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
A 2.5 hour seawatch this morning produced 49 Gannets (25S, 24N), 11 Puffins (N) and 4 Guillemots (N). Also present were 18 Great Northern Divers, 2 Whimbrel, 1 White Wagtail, a single Greenshank and a Pale-bellied Brent Goose

Two Arctic Skuas seen around the harbour area this afternoon

News from Tony Marr:-
Today’s clear skies and strong north-easterly wind in Ness produced a few summer arrivals from the south, and some apparent winter departures to the north.

Lapland Bunting – one by the pool 500 yards west of the lighthouse (am)
