Eyes and Ears Everywhere
Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
A one hour seawatch early this morning produced 8 Fulmar (3S 5N), 2 Manx Shearwater (S), 59 Gannet (54S 5N), and a Great Skua (N). Also present in the area was a single Ruff, 32 Dunlin, 200 Common Gull, 300 Herring Gull and a Peregrine

A Wood Pigeon (an uncommon visitor) was seen this morning

275 Bar-tailed Godwits roosting on South Ford this evening

Loch Stiapavat, Ness, Isle of Lewis
2 Whooper Swans present this morning

A Sooty Shearwater was seen from the Uig - Lochmaddy ferry this evening

Always Birding
Here at Askernish today, there were 21 Black-tailed Godwits, 45 Curlews and over 300 Lapwings on the mowed fields by the golf course.
