Two Lapland Buntings were seen there today

Loch Mheacleit, Isle of Lewis
An adult Long-tailed Skua flew south inland over the loch today

The juvenile ***Semipalmated Sandpiper*** was seen on the beach again early afternoon.

Barvas, Isle of Lewis
The 1CY *Mediterranean Gull* was on the beach again today

Clachan a Luib, North Uist
Five Whooper Swans were there today

Coot Loch, Benbecula
A single Black-tailed Godwit and 15 Sand Martins were there today

Weather: Wind SW veering WSW f6-7, cloudy with rain and squalls at first, long sunny spells later. Temp 13-14 C

A near six hour seawatch this morning produced 1 Eider (N), 1 Common Scoter [female] (S), 9 Red-throated Divers (S), 4 Leach's Petrels (S), 15 Fulmars (S), 2 Sooty Shearwaters (S), 82 Manx Shearwaters (S), 970 Gannets (963S 7N), 6 Shag (N), 1 Bar-tailed Godwit (S), 3 Turnstones (S), 1 *Buff-breasted Sandpipier* (in off the sea and continued south), 13 Kittiwakes (12S 1N), 1 *Sabine's Gull* [juvenile] (S), 1 Arctic Tern [juvenile] (S), 2 Great Skuas (S), 16 Razorbills (S) and 12 auk sp (S).
A Peregrine was also in the area
 
A small flock of six Redpoll around Askernish township has now been joined by a Common Redpoll
