  • At a time when travel is being actively discouraged, we will not be posting any sightings that may inspire individuals to do so. We will endeavour to continue to report routine sightings that may be of interest, but not of scarce or rare birds. We thank you for your understanding and of course visiting birders will be most welcome once this crisis is over. Please be safe and sensible and follow government advice and not put our community at risk.

The Ring-necked Duck was still on Loch Tangasdale. Nearby the juvenile Glaucous Gull was at Borve Point along with an immature Iceland Gull. A raft of at least 21 Black-throated Divers were off Ardmhor ferry terminal plus a Slavonian Grebe.
