16 Snow Buntings on the beach at Eoligarry today and more unusually for Barra in January, 15 Linnets. 29 Pale-bellied Brent Geese were at Traigh Mhor; numbers are varying from day to day, so perhaps there's a bit of movement going on. The Ring-necked Duck was still on Loch Tangasdale, a Fieldfare was still in the township on Vatersay and a 1w Greenland White-fronted Goose was among 40 or so Greylags near the causeway.
