21 Whooper Swans, 24 Gannets and 29 Whimbrel were seen heading North during a seawatch this morning while 87 Gannet and 25 Kittiwakes were seen heading South. 2 Lapland Buntings and 5 White Wagtails were also present.
Balranald, North Uist
5 Lapland Buntings were present near the visitors centre and a Glaucous Gull was seen at Aird an Runair this morning. 4 White Wagtails and 50+ Black-tailed Godwits were also seen nearby at Loch nam Feitham.
Clachan, North Uist
A drake *Green-winged Teal* reported this afternoon

Black Redstart – a male on fenceposts and in gardens in Eoropie seen on Sunday 16th by a local resident.

The Butt
- Pink-footed Geese – 165 in 4 flocks headed out to sea to NW (0920-1135)
- Barnacle Geese – 4 on the ground near the lighthouse joined a passing flock of Pinkfeet and went off out to sea to NW
- Sparrowhawk – one over the lighthouse headed SE down the coast (am)
- Whimbrel – 3
- Pink-footed Geese - after last evening’s 525 and a clear calm night, there were just 150 this morning (0815) but 200 at (1330)
- Barnacle Geese – 17 (am) had gone by (pm)
- Golden Plover – 600
