A juvenile Glaucous Gull flew over the harbour at noon

Rubha nan Ron, North Uist
A juvenile Glaucous Gull was seen there today. 56 Pale-bellied Brent Geese were nearby at Baile Iochdrach

Carnan, South Uist
A Rook and a Fieldfare were visiting a garden there

Loch Bee, South Uist
A drake *Ring-necked Duck* and a 2CY male Scaup were to the east of the causeway early afternoon

North Locheynort, South Uist
4 Long-tailed Tits were there today

Loch Bornish, South Uist
The female ***Lesser Scaup*** was seen there again this morning. 3 Velvet Scoters were also present with 4 being seen early afternoon

Rubha Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 09:45-11:30
Weather: Wind SW f4,variable cloud, occasional shower. Temp 8c.

A near 2 hour seawatch this morning produced 1 Kittiwake (S), 1 Red-throated Diver (N), and 2 Shag (N).
Also present in the area were Wigeon 96, Mallard 131, Teal 11, Tufted Duck 14, Goldeneye [adult male] 1, Red-breasted Merganser [female]1, Rock Dove 42, Curlew 13, Bar-tailed Godwit 66, Black-tailed Godwit 10, Purple Sandpiper 70, Redshank 7, Great Black-backed Gull 6, Cormorant 32, Hooded Crow 5, and Raven 1

3 Rooks flew south over Northbay this afternoon.
Vatersay
2 female Common Scoters were off the north side of the island. A flock of 29 Fieldfares by the township was a good winter count for here.
