Western Isles / Outer Hebrides bird sightings for today, 7th December 2022. Updated throughout the day

Tiumpan Loch, Isle of Lewis
Two drake *Green-winged Teal* were on the loch along with Eurasian Teal this morning. The *Ring-necked Duck* is also still present plus 3 Whooper Swans, 2 Pink-footed Geese and one Fieldfare.

Loch Sandary, North Uist
A juv Glaucous Gull is still present today

Paiblesgarry, North Uist
2 *European White-fronted Geese* were seen there

Carinish,North Uist
The Fieldfare was seen there again today

West Loch Ollay, South Uist
A probable ***Lesser Scaup*** was on the loch this afternoon as was the female type Pochard

Askernish, South Uist
The male Blackcap is still visiting a garden there
 
Barra
2 European White-fronted Geese still at Allasdale, Pink-footed Goose still at Borve, Woodcock at Bruernish, Castlebay and Creachan.

Vatersay
c20 Fieldfares north of the township still.
