26 Snow Buntings came in off the sea this afternoon and the ***King Eider*** was still offshore

11 Waxwings were in the Willowglen Road area early afternoon

The *Snow Goose* was on the machair there today

Carinish, North Uist
A Waxwing was seen there today

Bornish, South Uist
2 Waxwings were in a garden there this morning

Weather: Wind WSW f7 gust f10.Mostly 8/8 cloud with showers, brief sunny spells. Lightening on two occasions. Temp 8c.

A near 4 hour seawatch this morning produced 4 Eider (N), 12 Long-tailed Ducks (S), 2 Red-breasted Mergansers (S), 33 Kittiwakes (8S 25N), 4 Razorbills, (S), 5 auk sp (S), 2 Black Guillemots (S), 6 Red-throated Divers (5S 1N), 3 Great Northern Divers (S), 3 Fulmars (S), 29 Gannets (27S 2N), and 4 Shag (N).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 25, Tufted Duck 12, Ringed Plover 16, Curlew 3, Bar-tailed Godwit 6, Ruddy Turnstone 17, Sanderling 60, Dunlin 12, Snipe 1, Redshank 2, Great Black-backed Gull 5, Herring Gull 53, Common Loon 1, Cormorant 9, Hooded Crow 4, Rock Pipit 1, and an Otter
