A really quiet WeBS count today on Loch Bee and South Ford. Around Loch Bee, apart from greater than usual numbers of Starling, Common and Herring Gulls, 232 Golden Plover and 2 Gadwall were the only birds of note plus 136 Grey Plover on South Ford. Redshank were the only small waders seen at both sites. Elsewhere there were 14 Gadwall and 2 Shoveler on Coot Loch and 2 White Wagtails were on the beach at Stinky Bay
