A Fieldfare was in the Castle Grounds this morning

A Chiffchaff was there this morning

Griminish, Benbecula
A Brambling is visiting a garden there

Loch Bee, South Usit
2 Scaup, 12 Goldeneye and 48 Greenland White-fronted Geese were on the west bank of the loch today

Weather: Wind WSW f4, 8/8 cloud. Temp 7c.

A 1+ hour seawatch this morning produced 3 Red-throated Divers (1S 2N), 27 Shag (3S 24N), and 1 Cormorant (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 5, Gadwall 2, Wigeon 14, Mallard 69, Teal 7, Tufted Duck 18, Red-throated Diver 1, Great Northern Diver 2, Cormorant 24, White-tailed Eagle 1, Golden Plover 6, Curlew 5, Common Gull 55, Great Black-backed Gull 9, Hooded Crow 7, Raven 4, Twite 60

38 Whooper Swans, 400+ Wigeon and 150+ Tufties were on Loch Bee to the west of the causeway and 5 White-tailed Eagles were also in the vacinity. The Lesser Scaup was still on Loch an Daill this afternoon and a drake Pintail was on Coot Loch. The female Blackcap is still here in Askernish
 
Barra
2 Siberian Chiffchaffs and a Common Chiffchaff still around the football pitch at Castlebay, juvenile Surf Scoter still off Allasdale and Green-winged Teal still at Ardmhor.
