Weather: Wind WSW f7-9 easing to f7. Initially a few showers. Mainly cloudy but a few sunny periods. Temp 10-11c.
A 3 hour seawatch this morning produced 2 Common Scoters (S), 6 Long-tailed Ducks (S), 7 Red-throated Divers (S), 3 Great Northern Divers (S), 154 Gannets (S), 7 Shag (2S 5N), 3 Bar0=-tailed Godwits (S), 2 Grey Phalaropes (S), 25 Kittiwakes (S), 1 Little Auk (S - flying close in over beach and then car park), and 4 auk sp (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 86, Wigeon 18, Mallard 85, Teal 5, Tufted Duck 12, Red-throated Diver 1, Great Northern Diver 1, Cormorant 19, Golden Plover 2, Turnstone 43, Dunlin 17, Purple Sandpiper 12, Redshank 4, Peregrine 1, Hooded Crow 5, Skylark 3, and Rock Pipit 2
